Protect your active work when memory gets tight
A practical approach to keeping important tasks, documents and creative work safe while reviewing a slow computer.

Start with your priorities
Before you change anything, identify the work you want to preserve: an export, an unsaved document, an important browser session or a long-running development task. The most visible application is not always the only useful one.
Save your progress where possible. A current backup or checkpoint gives you options that a hurried cleanup does not.
Choose a calm pause
Use normal application controls to pause or finish work. Closing several applications at once can make it hard to know which change helped and which task was interrupted.
Leave uncertain items alone. A small amount of inconvenience is often preferable to losing work that would take hours to repeat.
Keep storage review separate
Low memory and low storage are different situations. Deleting a large personal file is not a general solution to a busy memory meter. Review each issue on its own merits.
For storage, choose a tool that shows a preview and distinguishes replaceable data from important files. Read the result carefully: estimated reclaimable size is not the same as measured space recovered.
Keep the final choice with you
The planned Brelyo license covers Memory Guard and Smart Storage Clean. You review guidance and proposed storage changes before choosing an action.
